Often referred to simply as Obliqua Peru, this rare gem is a member of the Monstera family, but it stands apart from its relatives thanks to its paper-thin leaves and dramatic fenestrations—some so extensive that the leaf is composed more of holes than of solid green tissue. Each leaf is a fragile masterpiece, making this plant a true collector’s treasure.

💚 The foliage of the Monstera obliqua ‘Peru’ is what captures the imagination. Deep green in color with extreme perforation, the leaves are soft, delicate, and ultra-light, often fluttering gently in the slightest breeze. Unlike the more common Monstera adansonii, which it is often mistaken for, the Obliqua has thinner leaves and a much more extreme fenestration pattern.
