🌴 The Elegant Areca Palm

• Foliage and Form: The Areca Palm features graceful, arching fronds that grow from multiple stems, giving the plant a lush, bushy appearance. Its common name, Golden Palm, comes from the golden-yellow hue that its stems can develop over time. The foliage is a rich green, creating a wonderful tropical canopy. This is an evergreen houseplant.

• Size: Your specimen stands at approximately 60cm tall and is delivered in a 17cm plastic grow pot, making it a perfectly sized floor or tabletop plant for smaller spaces.

☀️ Care and Placement

The key to keeping the Areca Palm healthy is balancing its needs for light and moisture, as specified in the care instructions.

• Light/Placement: The best location for the Areca palm is in partial shade. Direct sunlight is not good for this plant as it will scorch the fronds. The guide suggests placing the plant preferably at least 5 meters from a window to ensure it receives bright, but filtered and indirect light.

• Watering: You must give the Areca Palm sufficient water to keep the potting soil always slightly moist to the touch. However, it is vital to prevent the roots from getting flooded (or waterlogged), so ensure it has excellent drainage.
