The Vitis vinifera ‘Johanniter’ is an elegant and versatile white grape vine, perfect for gardeners seeking delicious, organically grown fruit with minimal fuss. This variety is particularly prized for its natural resistance to fungal diseases, thanks to a careful crossing of Riesling with other disease-resistant grape varieties. ‘Johanniter’ develops as a vigorous climbing plant, capable of reaching several metres in height. In midsummer, from July to August, the vine produces small, inconspicuous clusters of flowers. These quickly give way to beautiful white-green grape bunches, juicy and sweet, ideal for eating fresh, juicing, making jams, or even producing your own home-crafted wine.
