DESCRIPTION: Pink flowers, sometimes with white or red shades. Partial afternoon shade helps prolong flowering. The plant produces seeds that germinate easily, but it takes more than 5 years to obtain flowering plants; propagation is generally done vegetatively. The plant does not tolerate transplanting well, and bulbs often flower only in the year following transplantation.
PACKAGE: The pack contains 1 Amaryllis belladonna bulb. Bulbs have a circumference of 20/+ cm (approx. 7 cm in diameter). The packaging includes a beautiful illustrative photo along with planting and flowering instructions—also ideal as a gift idea.
HOW TO GROW: Plant the bulb with the tip just at soil level in full sun, either in pots or directly in the ground. Space bulbs approximately 10 cm apart. Use rich, well-drained soil and water moderately. Plant between February and May. Flowering occurs from September to October.
SELECTION & QUALITY: Bulbs are supplied with a phytosanitary passport and undergo strict quality control procedures to ensure excellent flowering from the first year.
