The 'Fascinator Tricolor' is an exceptional cultivar of the Prayer Plant, known for its extra dimension of color complexity. It originates from the tropical regions of Central and South America.
Foliage (Color and Pattern): The vibrant leaves are the star feature. This cultivar displays a visually appealing pattern with distinct red veins (which can look pink), dark green backgrounds, and often lighter, yellowish-green spots or streaks near the midrib, giving it a true "tricolor" effect. Nyctinasty (Movement): This plant gets its nickname from its nighttime ritual of folding its leaves together, resembling hands clasped in prayer. This fascinating behavior is more noticeable in the evening, as the leaves open up during the day to absorb sunlight.
