HOW TO GROW: They can be planted in autumn (in milder climates) or late winter/early spring. In the latter case, soak the dry bulbs in lukewarm water for about 3-4 hours prior to planting to hydrate them. Plant them at a depth of about 5 cm and space them 8-10 cm apart. They prefer sunny to partially shaded locations with well-drained soil.
