Foliage: The palm features elegant, feathery fronds with a lush green color. The leaves are generally thin and delicate, giving the plant a soft, tropical look.
Form: It grows as a compact, clustering palm, usually maintaining a manageable size indoors. It is an evergreen plant, providing continuous greenery.
Size: These are good, established plants, standing at approximately 55 cm (about 21.5 inches) tall and delivered in a 17 cm pot, making them perfect as floor or substantial tabletop plants.
The Parlor Palm is known for being relatively low-maintenance and tolerant of typical indoor environments.
Light: Place this palm in a spot in semi-shade (bright, indirect light). It is important to remember that a lot of direct sunlight is not good for the Mexican Mountain Palm, as it can easily scorch the delicate fronds.
This palm has a large water requirement compared to succulents and must not be allowed to dry out completely.
Frequency: You should water at least once a week.
Adjustment: In warmer periods, you may need to water the palm twice a week to ensure the soil remains consistently moist (but not soggy).
