A striking trailing houseplant known for the vibrant, high-contrast patterns on its leaves. The hanging pot accentuates its natural sprawling habit, making it an excellent choice for high shelves or ceiling planters.
Oval leaves feature a deep green background accented by bright lemon-yellow veins and light green central markings.
True to its common name, its foliage folds upward at night in a prayer-like position and spreads flat again during the day.
Thrives in bright, indirect light, as direct sunlight easily bleaches the vivid leaf patterns and crisps the edges. Keep it in a draft-free location away from cold doorways, open winter windows, and direct heating vents.
Requires soil that stays lightly and consistently moist, but never waterlogged. Water when the top layer of soil begins to dry out. It appreciates higher humidity, so occasional misting helps keep the leaf tips looking fresh and healthy.
Completely non-toxic and safe for dogs and cats, making it a worry-free plant to hang anywhere in the home.
Delivered in custom protective packaging designed to secure the hanging pot and keep the trailing stems safe during transit.
